Kedarnath is one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in India, located in the majestic Himalayas of Uttarakhand. The holy Kedarnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples in India. Situated at an altitude of about 3,583 meters (11,755 feet) near the banks of the Mandakini River, Kedarnath offers a spiritual experience surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.

The journey to Kedarnath usually includes a scenic trek of about 16–18 km from Gaurikund, making the pilgrimage both spiritually fulfilling and adventurous.
